Owen Davies QC is joint Head of Chambers with Courtenay Griffiths QC PracticePublic law: public interest challenges in the field of environment (the Greenpeace THORP case), government policy (the Pergau Dam case, the Save Our Railways cases), human rights and mental health. Criminal defence: including serious fraud, homicide, drugs and computer misuse. Extradition: at all levels; cases from the Astrid Proll case [1979] and including R v Bow St Magistrate ex p. Pinochet. Law for the protection of the environment: Standing Counsel for Greenpeace Immigration: especially asylum, deportation, family reunion and freedom of movement and nationality cases.
